About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Continuously study the passenger transportation and mobility market, monitoring trends, regulations, and emerging technologies such as AI, data, fleet electrification, and new payment models
  • Conduct structured benchmarking of national and international competitors, as well as analogous solutions in other industries
  • Identify unmet needs, size opportunities (TAM/SAM/SOM), and maintain an innovation opportunity radar
  • Maintain weekly contact with customers, users, and prospective customers through interviews, visits to garages and operations control centers, and field observation of operations
  • Apply discovery and validation frameworks such as Continuous Discovery, Jobs to Be Done, Design Thinking/Double Diamond, Lean Startup, and Design Sprint
  • Formulate hypotheses and design low-cost experiments, including prototypes, concept tests, MVPs, POCs, and pilots
  • Assess value, usability, technical feasibility, and business viability risks
  • Make evidence-based recommendations on whether initiatives should proceed, pivot, or be discontinued
  • Build business cases covering market sizing, revenue model, pricing, costs, ROI, payback, and risks
  • Present product theses to leadership and define success metrics and decision points
  • Revisit business cases after launch by comparing projected and actual results
  • Translate discovery learnings into product vision, clear requirements, and a prioritized backlog
  • Build and communicate the roadmap, balancing innovation with portfolio evolution
  • Structure the go-to-market strategy with Sales and Operations, including value proposition, positioning, pricing, launch, and enablement
  • Track adoption and post-launch metrics and gather feedback to guide iterations
  • Act as the point of contact between R&D, Sales, Operations, and Customer Success
  • Participate in product reviews, planning sessions, and demo days
  • Document and share learnings, including those from unsuccessful experiments
  • Support the Head of Product in building the discovery and innovation process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, including at least 2 years working with products or innovation functions (new products, new businesses, or 0→1 initiatives)
  • Demonstrated results: led at least one innovation initiative from discovery to market, with measurable impact on revenue, new customers, adoption, or efficiency
  • Practical mastery of discovery and validation frameworks, with concrete examples of their application
  • Experience building business cases and advocating investment recommendations to leadership
  • Experience with market research and competitive analysis
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete information, making decisions based on the best available data
  • Willingness to maintain frequent customer contact, including in-person visits and occasional travel
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories to technical, business, and executive audiences
  • Advanced English proficiency (a plus)
