About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Adapt existing math curricula to fit the MCP model
Support standards work for state math standards, including reviewing content
Review and provide feedback on curriculum and standards resources with a high level of attention to detail
Prepare and distribute high-quality curricular resources across multiple platforms, including Google Drive
Draft materials with artificial intelligence (AI) tools and review AI-generated content for accuracy and standards alignment
Collaborate with the Success, Partnership, and Research teams to ensure excellent materials for math educators
Manage additional math-related projects as needed
Support the design, creation, and improvement of classroom-ready materials that help teachers meet their learners’ needs
Report to the Director of Customized Curriculum Solutions on the Content Production team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
Thorough knowledge of math curriculum (e.g., Savvas, Illustrative Mathematics, Bluebonnet) and pedagogy at the secondary level
Comfort reading and unpacking state math standards and translating them into teacher-friendly language
Experience teaching secondary (grades 6-12) math in a traditional classroom setting (Modern Classroom implementation preferred)
Experience developing curriculum-related materials in a full-time or contract-based capacity
Experience using AI in workflows, using a critical eye to review AI-generated work
Demonstrated exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
Comfort with remote work in a dynamic, start-up environment
General knowledge of Google Suite tools, especially Google Slides & Google Sheets
Self-starter who can work independently and think on their feet
Passionate about making the world a better place, particularly through education
