About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the day-to-day operations, productivity, and profitability of the McLean, Virginia office
- Lead, mentor, and develop legal staff through training, motivation, and support
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR on recruitment and policy compliance
- Coordinate with other leaders to ensure cross-departmental support
- Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice on family law matters
- Represent clients in court
- Prepare legal documents
- Negotiate settlements
- Balance legal expertise, team mentorship, and operational management
- Maintain direct client contact
Requirements
What you’ll need- Five (5) or more years of devoted Family Law experience preferred
- Must be within commuting distance to the McLean, VA office
- Skilled in mentoring and leading a team while fostering collaboration
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset
- Proficient in client counseling, case preparation, case management, and courtroom representation
- Clear and effective verbal and written legal communication
- Able to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Committed to delivering excellent client service
- Active admission to the Virginia State Bar
