About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and property division
- Maintain excellence in client service through legal expertise, client advocacy, and collaboration
- Manage multiple competing responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Prepare accurate legal documents and filings
- E-file documents with county court systems
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case management
- Interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and court staff
- Help launch and grow the new Savannah office
- Help shape the culture and success of the Savannah team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 0–6 years of experience in family law preferred, but other legal experience will be considered
- Exceptional writing skills
- Proficiency in e-filing with county courts
- Experience working with multiple attorneys in a law firm setting
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Superior organizational skills
- Ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and court staff
- Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of family law cases while maintaining high-quality legal work
- Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously
- Proactive problem-solving ability
- Ability to stay composed and organized under tight deadlines
- Ability to work with or without reasonable accommodations
