About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help launch and grow Modern Family Law’s new Alpharetta office
- Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support
- Communicate directly with clients
- Draft legal documents
- Handle depositions, court appearances, and mediations
- Manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting
- Help shape the culture and success of the Southeast expansion
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four (4) or more years of Family Law experience
- Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates interested in practicing Family Law
- Active admission to the Georgia State Bar
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset
- Ability to handle divorce, custody, and child and spousal support cases
- Comfort with direct client communications, drafting legal documents, depositions, court appearances, and mediations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting
