About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct outbound cold calls and develop email campaigns
  • Use social media, including LinkedIn, to educate prospects and demonstrate solution value
  • Research target leads and personas and analyze prospects before handoff to Regional Sales Managers or Account Executives
  • Learn the healthcare industry and product offering to communicate value propositions and overcome objections and competitive questions
  • Follow up on inbound marketing leads
  • Identify qualified opportunities and provide appropriate information to interested prospects
  • Maintain detailed, updated lead-management documentation using Salesforce.com, SalesLoft/Outreach, and other tools
  • Achieve qualified-opportunity quotas to support territory revenue objectives
  • Develop relationships with prospects and serve as the initial point of contact
  • Schedule demonstrations for assigned Regional Sales Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, pre-med, business, marketing, or related degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous professional experience in sales, marketing, communication, or related professions highly preferred
  • Up to 15-20% travel required
  • Experience with CRM, EHR, Salesforce, SalesLoft, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and G-Suite/Mac is a plus
  • Strong interest in healthcare and developing a career in sales
  • Polished and engaging written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome objections and think on your feet
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, with an ability to receive and learn from feedback
  • Ability to persist through adversity and recover from failure or disappointment
  • Business acumen and customer orientation, including proactive research of products and customer profiles
  • Collaborative and team-oriented
