About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advanced computer-related support to Moffatt & Nichol employees in all geographical locations
- Respond to end-user requests for software, hardware, and mobile-device support
- Provide support through email, trouble tickets, and phone
- Provide advanced support for other IT Support Specialists and accept complex support requests
- Reply to help desk tickets and answer the help desk phone line
- Train and mentor other IT Support Specialists
- Update and maintain the WDS imaging server
- Maintain documentation and inventory using OneNote, Excel, Lansweeper, and Active Directory
- Assist the Network Operations Manager with approved tasks
- Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding by creating accounts and processing terminations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or related IT certification(s) preferred but not required
- 5+ years of related work experience providing technical support in a professional environment preferred
- Understanding of advanced IT concepts and functions
- Ability to work independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work within a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Successful completion of a pre-employment (post-offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
- Legal ability to obtain employment in the U.S. and present the required documentation at hire
- Ability to interact with clients and travel occasionally
- Sedentary work for prolonged periods of time
