About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with Moffitt team members to leverage virtual health technologies in delivering care and analyze high-level business requirements
- Create functional specifications and report documentation defining application behavior based on customer needs
- Provide guidance on system and process requirements that promote exceptional patient, provider and staff experiences
- Contribute to end-user support and technical education to optimize technology adoption
- Collect and analyze information to formulate technology solution scope and objectives
- Build user stories and translate them into functional and technical requirements and acceptance criteria
- Scope technical and training documentation and ensure products are delivered error-free according to user requirements
- Translate requirements into test plans and work with business owners throughout the software development life cycle
- Partner with internal and external users and IT teams to capture problems, current and future states, objectives, business needs and impacted user groups
- Develop business, user, software, functional and non-functional requirements
- Establish traceability of business and functional requirements in support of the business vision
- Execute elicitation techniques including interviews, facilitated workshops, focus groups, observation, documentation study, surveys and exploratory prototypes
- Communicate with business users, developers and testing personnel
- Review feature ideas and escalate them internally for future development
- Adhere to and help improve SDLC practices and organizational maturity
- Design and develop Virtual Health solutions, including reports and dashboards
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests through data extracts, queries, report creation, data issue resolution and technical support
- Perform data accuracy audits, data quality assurance and quality review procedures
- Monitor service quality and compliance for patients and clinicians
- Investigate vendor practices for compliance, quality and value
- Monitor corrective action plans and report on their timely and effective resolution
- Track account usage for clinicians, patients and families to deliver virtual health services aligned with Moffitt-branded experiences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Design, Health care or related field required, with stated alternatives of equivalent directly related work experience, an Associate's degree plus additional IT systems support experience, or a High School diploma/GED plus additional IT systems support experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in Information Technology analyzing and documenting business, stakeholder, functional and non-functional technical requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an IT or Business Project role for analysis, development, and testing
- Proficient in requirements gathering methodologies and the SDLC
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience facilitating sessions to define scope and requirements of medium to large projects crossing two or more business and technical domains
- Preferred: experience supporting consumer-facing products
- Preferred: demonstrated knowledge of program support, informational architecture and ongoing product optimization
