About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle medium- and high-complexity labor and employment cases through all stages of litigation
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, appeals, legal submissions, and legal opinions
- Represent clients at hearings, oral arguments, negotiations, and other procedural proceedings
- Provide preventive legal counsel on matters related to labor and employment law and labor litigation
- Conduct risk assessments, define litigation strategies, and monitor portfolio case metrics
- Monitor publications, procedural deadlines, and court updates
- Maintain client relationships by providing technical guidance and case updates
- Provide technical support to the legal team by sharing knowledge and contributing to the quality of deliverables
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree
- Substantial experience in labor and employment law, including both advisory and litigation work
- Experience handling strategic and high-complexity cases
- Up-to-date knowledge of labor legislation, case law, and labor litigation procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Postgraduate degree in Labor and Employment Law or Labor Litigation (a plus)
- Postgraduate degree, MBA, or continuing education courses in related fields (a plus)
