About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leverage syndicated data and Walmart proprietary data systems to extract actionable insights on category trends and shopper behavior
- Generate weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports and presentations translating complex data into clear data stories
- Support modular and planogram evaluations and recommendations
- Build data-backed narratives influencing retailer strategies, including pricing, promotions and new product placement
- Support the overarching category vision to grow the retailer’s total category and drive Mondelez business performance
- Act as an unbiased, consultative category expert and trusted advisor during Walmart buyer meetings
- Evaluate and improve the shopping experience across physical stores and digital/ecommerce platforms
- Develop and synthesize market research and behavioral data into actionable presentations and reports
- Build strong relationships across customer, sales, category leadership, trade marketing and omnichannel activation teams
- Participate in retailer presentations and joint business planning/joint value creation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Marketing or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Insights or Analytics
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills
- Experience with syndicated data sources including Nielsen, Numerator and Scintilla
- Experience using retailer data, shopper insights and analytics to develop comprehensive customer strategy and plans
- Knowledge of analyzing and creating visualizations of large amounts of data
- Experience developing customer-facing presentations
- High proficiency in Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven track record of collaborating across internal teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Walmart or relevant category experience preferred
- Experience with Crisp reporting and automation a plus
- eCommerce/Omnichannel Walmart experience a plus
- JDP/POG development and analysis experience a plus
- 10–20% travel
