About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enter purchase orders in NetSuite based on order arrival and requested delivery dates
- Manage EDI order support and new customer setup with internal IT
- Coordinate supply planning mitigation and execute order allocations
- Communicate with brokers and buyers about changing customer needs
- Resolve purchase order discrepancies, revision requests and stock availability inquiries
- Submit customer acknowledgements and approvals
- Create analyses to determine order size requests
- Communicate out-of-stock notifications and price increases to customers
- Process and prioritize sales sample requests
- Provide post-delivery support to customers and Sales
- Support promotional order execution and delivery
- Schedule, prioritize and support product repacks with third-party vendors
- Coordinate retail-to-ecommerce packaging conversions when needed
- Support quality-related risk mitigation and communicate allocation, back-in-stock and expedite plans
- Align shipper forecasts with Demand Planning and schedule third-party pack-outs
- Ensure consumption communication for finished goods and packaging materials
- Serve as order management subject matter expert for an ERP development launch
- Build SOP documentation and lead task cross-training
- Contribute to weekly Demand/Supply Alignment and monthly SIOP calls
- Provide inputs for forward-looking forecasts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience, skills, education and location may affect exact salary
- Ability to work in the office any 3 days a week
- Ability to manage PO order entry in NetSuite
- Experience with EDI order support and customer setup
- Knowledge of NetSuite sales orders, purchase orders, transfer orders, customer acknowledgements, report creation and editing
- Understanding of purchase order, transfer order and sales order workstreams and vendor-specific processes
- Understanding of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) purposes and processes
- Ability to support S&IOP and Demand Planning Consensus Calls
- Ability to build Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation
- Ability to lead cross-training initiatives
- Ability to liaise with Planning, Quality, Operations, Sales, Procurement, brokers, buyers, customers and third-party vendors
