About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work across the advisory and litigation aspects of employment law, providing legal support to business functions, with People as the primary internal client
  • Manage external law firms, monitoring litigation strategy, metrics, exposure and provisions, settlements, and employment claims
  • Respond to inquiries, conduct risk analyses, and provide legal guidance to internal clients
  • Advise Mondelēz International on inspections and proceedings before the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE), the Public Labor Prosecutor’s Office (MPT), and other competent authorities
  • Work closely with business functions and other stakeholders, supporting decision-making and projects
  • Support the implementation of internal policies and cross-functional projects
  • Develop executive materials, metrics, and presentations
  • Provide strategic intellectual property legal support to business units, regions, and global stakeholders
  • Operate IP systems and technologies, prepare documents, gather information, and identify global legal and regulatory changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law degree and active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
  • Experience in employment law within a corporate environment, including advisory and litigation work
  • Previous in-house legal experience will be considered essential for the position
  • Experience managing external law firms
  • Experience supporting internal clients and stakeholders at different levels in a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of labor inspections (MTE/MPT) and risk management
  • Intermediate or advanced English (mandatory)
  • Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement (50% on-site and 50% remote)
  • Knowledge of Espaider or other legal management systems
  • Knowledge of Power BI and metrics analysis
  • Experience preparing executive presentations
  • Experience working for large companies or multinational organizations
