About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fulfill customers' merchandising needs through communication and relationship building
- Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays
- Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees
- Work closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays
- Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps
- Order product via iPad tablet for shelves and displays to ensure in-stock conditions
- Ensure Nabisco brands are represented, stocked, and maintained according to company guidelines
- Ensure sales representatives’ negotiated plans with store managers are followed
- Communicate issues with Mondelēz’ management team
- Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager
- Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches
- Represent Mondelēz in stores with a positive, upbeat attitude
Requirements
What you’ll need- Be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to drive a personal vehicle to a variety of store locations
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
- Ability to occasionally push and pull over 50 lbs
- Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus
- Live within 25 miles range from the primary location Baytown, TX
- Schedule availability required: 4 days each week with 1 being a weekend day
- Availability to work 40 hours each week
- Availability to start at 5 AM
