About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver RDQ activities for new product development, portfolio maintenance, and productivity projects
  • Execute projects across confectionery and meal portfolios at the Ringwood and Scoresby sites
  • Manage end-to-end R&D projects from planning and benchwork through execution
  • Review ingredients and specifications
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manufacturing partners, and external manufacturers
  • Manage stakeholders and evaluate products
  • Conduct shelf-life testing and prepare consumer tests
  • Produce technical reports with conclusions and recommendations
  • Create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Background in food science, product development, chemistry, or engineering
  • Experience ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods market
  • Ability to work on teams and independently with manager guidance
  • Ability to prioritize and manage activities
  • Effective verbal and written communication, including technical writing
  • Consumer-focused approach to development activities
