About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and build additions to the existing Databricks environment housing data for internal reporting
- Build data pipelines from multiple sources to create a unified “one source of truth” model
- Maintain Power BI report availability, deploy improvements, develop visualizations, and manage report distribution
- Manage reporting and storage of snapshots for budgets, points in time, and gross-to-net P&L assumptions
- Translate day-to-day and ad hoc analyses into accessible reports and insights
- Own the base sales forecast in partnership with Field Sales
- Interface with Marketing and Operations throughout monthly S&OP cycles
- Support trade owners in summarizing and reporting trade-system spend
- Communicate findings to the business and collaborate cross-functionally on solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in CPG analytics, demand planning, or related field preferred with a primary focus on business intelligence
- Strong knowledge of statistical programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL
- Experience writing queries and developing databases
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- High attention to detail and passion for data integrity
- Comfort working across multiple data sources
- Ability to influence decision making across multiple levels and functions
- Ability to make decisions and work with little supervision
- Diligence in keeping detailed, well-structured notes on assumptions and programming changes
- Knowledge and experience in statistical techniques and concepts such as regression, distribution properties, and statistical testing
- Prior experience with SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, NetSuite, Vividly or other TPM systems, and syndicated data interfaces such as Nielsen, Circana, and SPINS is a plus
