About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set the vision and lead the agenda for proactive, board-ready strategic intelligence informing enterprise-level decision making
- Develop and deliver assessments of consumer sentiment, shifting demand, macroeconomic shifts, and marketplace dynamics
- Own strategic intelligence content for Board of Directors meetings, earnings call preparation documents, and senior executive communications
- Provide strategic intelligence and analytical support for cross-category enterprise initiatives
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the SVP, Global I&A and broader MLT
- Build a collaborative relationship with Corporate Communications to translate insights for external deployment
- Synthesize emerging consumer, category, and industry trends into actionable foresight narratives
- Partner with Category and Corporate Strategy, Innovation Excellence, and Global Brand teams to pressure test and update strategic initiatives
- Lead comprehensive benchmarking of Mondelēz categories versus the broader food industry
- Oversee the executive-level narrative for OLT monthly meetings, with quarterly earnings-release deep dives
- Architect and deploy AI-powered tools and infrastructure for competitive monitoring, trend synthesis, and executive alerting
- Champion AI-enabled workflows across the enterprise intelligence function
- Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing strategic intelligence team
- Report to the SVP, Global Insights & Analytics and manage two direct reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree required
- 12+ years of progressive experience in strategic insights, competitive intelligence, consumer foresight, or strategy/consulting roles within CPG/Food & Beverage
- Deep expertise in consumer and marketplace trend analysis, competitive benchmarking, and strategic storytelling
- Proven ability to synthesize complex, multi-source information into clear, board-ready narratives and recommendations
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to and influencing C-suite and Board-level audiences
- Proven people leadership with track record of building and developing highly motivated, empowered, and high-performing teams
- Proven track record in persuasively influencing and aligning business stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
- Experience preparing content for public company earnings communications
- Experience in a global role spanning multiple regions/markets
- Familiarity with intelligence platforms such as Euromonitor, GlobalData, Mintel, Nielsen, or AI-based intelligence tools
- MBA or Master's in Strategy, Economics, Business, or related field preferred
- Transformative thinker with an expansive, innovative mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and thinking outside the box
- Highly collaborative team player with proven track record of getting the best out of a team, regardless of location or reporting lines
