About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess information security risks in line with internal policy and external best practices
Test security systems and apply security standards, policies, and procedures
Implement cybersecurity technology under the guidance of the global information security lead
Provide day-to-day business support
Manage third-party providers when relevant to ensure adherence to standards
Provide information security training to appropriate teams
Lead and execute SAP Security activities supporting S/4HANA transformation and modernization
Design and implement scalable SAP security architecture for multi-company and multi-region environments
Lead redesign and rationalization of SAP roles, including business, composite, single, and derived roles, organizational values, and authorization objects
Translate business-process requirements into secure, properly segregated SAP access models
Simplify, standardize, and harmonize security roles across operating companies while respecting legitimate local requirements
Support security activities during cutover, migration, testing, UAT, and SAP go-live
Design and implement SAP roles based on least privilege, business need, and risk-based access
Analyze, remediate, rationalize, and optimize roles in existing SAP environments
Establish and maintain role-design standards, naming conventions, ownership models, and approval processes
Identify and remove excessive, conflicting, inactive, and unnecessary access
Design controls for privileged and sensitive SAP access, including emergency/firefighter access
Collaborate with IAM teams to integrate SAP access with IGA, SSO, MFA, PAM/PIM, and identity lifecycle processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant hands-on experience in SAP Security and SAP S/4HANA
Advanced English
Strong experience designing and implementing SAP roles and authorization models
Demonstrated experience in S/4HANA transformation, role redesign, and security modernization
Experience in large, global environments with multiple operating companies
Demonstrated experience implementing artificial-intelligence-based automation for operational efficiency
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience in information security, compliance, and risk management
Knowledge of security solutions and their applicability
Knowledge of security strategies, awareness campaigns, policies/standards, and governance
Ability to communicate effectively with technical specialists, leaders, and peers
Team-player capability to support and lead toward common goals
