About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop consumer selling stories using the consumer segmentation framework
- Guide stakeholders on consumer segmentation principles and uses to uncover actionable retail-level insights
- Curate social intelligence to uncover cultural trends and snacking moments
- Identify growth opportunities in retail environments
- Generate behavior-changing insights and identify effective engagement levers
- Optimize the business through data, tracking, and learning
- Drive action-oriented insights for innovation, communication, and brand growth planning teams
- Provide business guidance to Trade Marketing, Sales, and Marketing teams through shopper purchasing behavior and channel insights
- Transform insights into business intelligence and point-of-sale execution applications, including success pictures, trade activation plans, and channel strategies
- Map macroeconomic trends, shopper behavior, and sales channels
- Translate shopper behavior data into actionable insights across channels, categories, shoppers, needs, missions, and purchase planning levels
- Evaluate in-store actions such as pricing, visibility, secondary displays, and communication materials
- Analyze shopper purchasing behavior in physical and digital retail environments
- Build strategic data-based narratives to answer stakeholder business questions and map market trends
- Collaborate with Trade, Sales, and Marketing as a strategic business partner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience using retailer/customer data, shopper insights and analytics to develop retail customer plans, ideally in the FMCG/CPG industry
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Expertise in data modelling with data visualization tools; Tableau experience is a must
- In-depth knowledge of analyzing and creating visualizations of large amounts of data
- Experience presenting to retailer teams and in negotiation planning/joint business planning
- Strong knowledge and usage of market segmentation models
- Proven track record influencing and aligning key customers and business stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
- Ability to partner with marketing, sales and external agencies
- Knowledge of shopper insights tools and analytical indicators
- Ability to transform data into business intelligence and develop selling stories
- Solid knowledge of market research methodologies, including Nielsen and Scantech, and experience conducting ad hoc research
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced English proficiency
- Proven experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in data analysis or insights roles
- Availability to work in a hybrid model at the São Paulo – SP office during business hours
