About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute sales programs related to innovation, distribution, merchandising, and promotion for the assigned category
  • Connect Customer Business Teams with Innovation, Marketing, and Category Equity teams
  • Create category and customer plans in collaboration with Category, Insights, and Customer Business Teams
  • Serve as the internal category expert and create compelling, actionable, and measurable plans
  • Provide thought leadership on brand and category initiatives, promotional strategy, and budget planning
  • Lead dashboard delivery and category fundamentals, recommending corrective actions
  • Manage modern trade customers, leading business reviews, activation calendars, and the implementation of category and customer plans
  • Connect category strategies to in-store execution and support sales teams with sell-out activities
  • Lead the Channel IBP process, providing strategic inputs, ROI analysis, and resource sufficiency recommendations
  • Lead and track execution plans and programs, ensuring adequate category visibility and action plans
  • Lead the SMR Channel IBP process, including pre-alignments, sufficiency inputs, sales capacity, and sales deployment
  • Translate Category and Sales strategies into customer activation platforms and in-store execution guidelines
  • Manage understanding of customer and shopper businesses, identifying factors that influence sell-out platforms
  • Identify and act on category opportunities with customers
  • Lead ROI evaluation of trade channel activities
  • Manage regional Trade Incentives and A&C budgets
  • Develop direct reports and peers, building collaborative relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in category development, key account management, and market insights analysis
  • Ability to drive growth through category leadership
  • Forward-looking mindset and curiosity about industry trends, digital solutions, and consumer innovation
  • Ability to translate opportunities into business plans
  • Experience developing strategic plans, measuring and monitoring results, and making recommendations to achieve growth targets
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and interact effectively with others with courage and resilience
  • Strong analytical and business acumen
  • Proven experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is a distinct advantage
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model
  • Relocation support is not available
