About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate the work of the CEO across Pockit, Monese and his wider business portfolio
- Manage the CEO’s business and personal diary, including travel arrangements when needed
- Support personal and family-related administration
- Handle confidential information with high discretion
- Work with the wider executive team to optimise the CEO’s itinerary and prioritisation
- Support executive-team meeting arrangements, logistics and events
- Prepare documents, papers and correspondence on behalf of the CEO
- Support meeting minutes, board meeting preparation and other administrative tasks
- Communicate with external stakeholders, including investors, to facilitate arrangements
- Support the Chief of Staff with the monthly All Hands meeting, including slide decks, host coordination and technology setup
- Welcome visitors and ensure meeting arrangements and catering are in place
- Manage office administration, meeting logistics and the smooth-running of the co-working space
- Coordinate London People Team initiatives, including social events, awareness days, charitable activities, celebrations and recognition schemes
- Support ad-hoc business projects as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- C-Suite experience, including a direct one to one relationship with a CEO or equivalent
- Exposure to a start-up/scale up environment
- Proficient with investor relationships and extensive external stakeholders
- Enthusiastic, can-do attitude and ability to foster great relationships and build office culture
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous accuracy
- Outstanding organisational skills to manage time sensitive issues
- Proven experience coordinating events, large or small, localised or further afield
- First rate experience in both Microsoft and Google suite products
- Great interpersonal skills with a warm friendly demeanour and a flexible can-do attitude
- Professional and confident communication skills
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure and to deadlines
- Flexible toward working hours; able to accommodate out-of-hours work on occasion
