About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of data infrastructure for ingestion, orchestration, and transformation
- Build and maintain Moneyfarm’s analytical data models, ensuring they are performant, scalable, and reliable
- Contribute to the incremental decommissioning of legacy components while ensuring data continuity for the business
- Contribute to AI-powered capabilities of Moneyfarm’s Data Platform
- Share best practices through code reviews and knowledge sharing, supporting the growth of the team
- Work closely with analysts, software engineers, and product teams to solve complex data problems and deploy ML/AI applications
- Bring positive impact to Moneyfarm data culture by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering roles
- BSc or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience in fintech / wealth management
- Deep proficiency in SQL and Python
- Meaningful experience with Airflow and DBT
- Strong experience with Redshift; BigQuery is a plus
- Experience with AWS
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
- Comfortable integrating AI tooling in daily work
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, also with non technical stakeholders
- Ability to translate business requirements into well-designed data solutions
- Comfortable working in iterative environments balancing quality and delivery
- Fluency in English is essential
- CV must be uploaded in English
