About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess and consolidate the current architectural landscape, identifying characteristics, patterns, capabilities, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
Build, document, and evolve Reference Architectures
Define reusable architectural standards, components, and building blocks
Define integrations, assumptions, constraints, and architectural drivers
Develop target architectures to guide technological evolution
Design transition architectures between the current environment and the desired architecture
Analyze interdependencies across applications, data, integration, security, infrastructure, and cloud
Conduct technical studies to assess and compare architectural alternatives
Produce technical analyses and recommendations to support the evolution of Reference Architectures
Identify modernization patterns and strategies for addressing legacy technologies
Create and maintain diagrams, blueprints, catalogs, decision records, and other architectural artifacts
Support the continuous evolution of architectural references in response to technological changes and organizational needs
Assess impacts resulting from technological obsolescence and propose architectural direction
Consider the needs of business areas and the organization’s strategic drivers
Promote the reuse of architectural capabilities and standards across different initiatives
Contribute to consistency and alignment across architectural decisions
Provide technical support to the teams involved in using and evolving the architectural references

Ability to analyze complex architectural scenarios
Ability to identify patterns, dependencies, and opportunities for reuse
Ability to structure and document reference architectures
Ability to evaluate architectural alternatives and their impacts
Experience or ability to work with architectural evolution and transition scenarios
Ability to identify impacts related to modernization and technological obsolescence
Ability to produce clear and consistent documentation and architectural artifacts
Ability to communicate technical decisions and recommendations to diverse audiences
Ability to collaborate with different teams and initiatives
