About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess and consolidate the current architectural landscape, identifying characteristics, patterns, capabilities, dependencies, and opportunities for evolution
Build, document, and evolve Reference Architectures
Define reusable architectural standards, components, and building blocks
Define integrations, assumptions, constraints, and architectural drivers
Develop target architectures to guide technological evolution
Design transition architectures between the current environment and the desired architecture
Analyze interdependencies across applications, data, integration, security, infrastructure, and cloud
Conduct technical studies to assess and compare architectural alternatives
Produce technical analyses and recommendations for evolving Reference Architectures
Identify modernization patterns and strategies for legacy technologies
Create and maintain diagrams, blueprints, catalogs, decision records, and other architectural artifacts
Support the continuous evolution of architectural references
Assess the impacts of technology obsolescence and propose architectural direction
Consider business area needs and the organization’s strategic drivers
Promote the reuse of capabilities and architectural patterns across initiatives
Contribute to consistency and alignment among architectural decisions
Provide technical support to business areas in using and evolving architectural reference models
Primarily architectural, consultative, and strategic work spanning different initiatives
