About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and evolve enterprise network architectures
- Define standards and guidelines for data center connectivity
- Support the definition of communications architectures for branches, lottery retail outlets, and administrative buildings
- Design and assess connectivity solutions based on performance, availability, security, and scalability requirements
- Define architectures for the enterprise WAN
- Support connectivity strategies across different environments and data centers
- Define and assess architectures based on SD-WAN, MPLS, and other enterprise connectivity technologies
- Define network segmentation and microsegmentation strategies
- Establish security standards applied to network architecture
- Assess architectures based on Zero Trust, NAC, enterprise firewalls, and IDS/IPS
- Define Network Security architectures
- Design and assess data center network architectures, including Spine-Leaf, VXLAN, and EVPN models
- Support the evolution of Fabric Networks
- Define observability and monitoring strategies for network infrastructure
- Support the implementation of Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) mechanisms
- Define strategies for flow analysis, telemetry, and network performance
- Assess Flow Analysis and Packet Analysis solutions
- Support integration projects between cloud environments and data centers
- Prepare and review architecture documents, standards, models, and other artifacts
- Assess technology solutions from the perspectives of performance, security, resilience, segmentation, and connectivity
- Provide consulting support to teams responsible for network and telecommunications infrastructure
