About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate internal controls to assess design and operational effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
Prepare and complete internal audit work programmes to a high professional grade, meeting internal audit standards and budget and time deadlines
Draft internal audit reports as required by client assignment
Liaise with clients to complete internal audit assignments and reports
Draft internal audit plans and strategies
Travel for client engagements, including some overnight stays
Perform additional professional accounting or auditing duties depending on client assignment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate Trainee Accountant, Part qualified Accountant / Internal Auditor via ACA, ACCA, including Internal Audit electives, or Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, Ireland
Internal or external audit experience an advantage
Excellent verbal and written English skills essential
Ideally with access to a car for onsite visits both within Dublin and outside of Dublin
Candidates should be motivated, collaborative, enthusiastic and driven in their approach to their career
