About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the end-to-end delivery of technology projects and workstreams across engineering, product, quality assurance, and business teams
- Align execution with business objectives, timelines, budget, and technical requirements
- Build, track, and maintain project plans, milestone schedules, cross-team dependencies, and resource assignments
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Identify project risks, issues, and blockers; establish mitigation plans and escalate critical items
- Serve as the primary stakeholder contact and lead presentations and status syncs in English with US-based managers and directors
- Track resource effort, forecast delivery milestones, and report progress against commitments
- Maintain RAID logs, status reports, decision records, and other project documentation
- Coordinate with QA and release teams on testing cycles, release readiness, and go-live activities
- Foster continuous improvement while adhering to client information security and compliance standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent practical work experience
- Proven experience managing IT or software development projects
- Professional English proficiency (B2+ / C1 level)
- Hands-on knowledge of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban, as well as exposure to hybrid delivery frameworks
- Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, product management, and business stakeholders
- Practical proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
- Strong reporting and data organization skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Solid background in risk management, RAID log ownership, dependency mapping, and milestone tracking
- Availability to work business hours aligned with US Eastern or Central time zones
- Legal authorization to work in your country of residence
- Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are nice to have
- Domain experience in financial services, payments, retail banking, or merchant environments is nice to have
- Prior experience working within consulting firms or global financial institutions is nice to have
- Foundational understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software testing phases, and release management is nice to have
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese in addition to English is nice to have
