About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, design, and implement enterprise-scale cloud network infrastructure
- Develop Terraform modules using Terraform Enterprise and Terraform Cloud
- Integrate cloud core services with Morgan Stanley on-premises systems
- Test infrastructure as code using tools and frameworks such as Terraform Test
- Lead cloud network automation and deployment through CI/CD integrations including GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps
- Design and support Kubernetes-based private cloud networks, including ingress, egress, and routing topologies
- Write technical documentation and troubleshoot and debug technical issues
- Influence organizational cloud adoption strategy through leadership and collaboration with senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with the broader Cloud team to execute the firm's cloud strategy
- Partner with cross-functional technical teams to deliver product-level solutions and operational support
- Lead cloud networking strategy, architecture, and design decisions
- Contribute to engineering reviews, incident response, and root cause analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in engineering, architecture, or developer roles
- 7+ years of experience with Cloud PaaS and/or IaaS, including Google, Azure, or AWS
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Git, Shell scripting or Python, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager
- Practitioner-level network automation skills using DevOps and CI/CD pipeline practices
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams on architecture, features, and problem solving
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and write detailed technical documentation
- Linux and networking skills
- Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Knowledge of Calico and Cilium CNIs is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer, or GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer are nice to have
- Knowledge of French and English is required
