About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze data and build financial models to drive insights and recommendations
- Develop strategic and analytical frameworks to support critical projects
- Gather competitive intelligence on existing and emerging competitors
- Create executive-ready presentations communicating business strategy

- Support evaluation of potential acquisitions and partnerships
- Address strategic questions across growth, profitability, multi-year planning, competitive dynamics, technology investments, acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships
- Synthesize industry and competitive insights
- Develop strategic recommendations to shape Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s future strategy
- Partner with Advisory/Private Wealth Management, E*TRADE, Workplace & Institutional, Investment Solutions, Finance, Technology, and Marketing teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
- 5+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, or an internal strategy/corporate development function
- Direct work or project experience in Wealth Management, Banking or Financial Services industries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills
- Solid foundation in corporate finance and accounting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and work independently
- Strong interpersonal and professional judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in AI tools (effective prompt writing, GPT creation, etc.)
