About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive managed portfolio net flow and funds-under-management growth
- Acquire new adviser and licensee relationships and expand existing client partnerships
- Increase adoption, retention and share of wallet
- Strengthen adviser engagement through investment education and strategic relationship management
- Resolve investment-related challenges proactively
- Represent Morningstar's investment capabilities at client meetings, conferences, webinars, licensee events and industry forums
- Deliver market insights, portfolio updates and thought leadership
- Act as a subject matter expert on Morningstar's investment philosophy, managed portfolio solutions and market views
- Support advisers and internal stakeholders with investment insights
- Collaborate with Sales, Product and Investment teams to identify growth opportunities and provide client and market feedback
- Develop presentations, market updates, portfolio commentaries and thought leadership content
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated success in investment management, managed accounts or wealth management business development roles
- Proven track record of converting adviser relationships into revenue and asset growth outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify business growth opportunities
- Experience with managed accounts, managed portfolios, model portfolios or investment platforms highly regarded
- Ability to build credibility and influence with advisers, practice owners, investment committees and licensee stakeholders
- Strong investment background, including asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager analysis
- Ability to communicate complex investment and behavioural finance concepts practically to financial advisers and practice principals
- Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines and service standards
- Excellent presentation, public speaking and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or related discipline preferred
- CFA designation or relevant postgraduate qualifications highly regarded
- RG146 Certification
