About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Diagnose complex issues within the Planning and Controls stack
  • Parse logs and replay simulation data to identify causes of anomalous vehicle actions
  • Develop, test, and deploy software fixes for immediate business needs
  • Identify workflow improvements and develop internal tooling and scripts
  • Automate common log-analysis patterns and improve team efficiency
  • Act as technical liaison between teams to align on-road issues with current development work
  • Help resolve challenges facing autonomous vehicle software and accelerate autonomous capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of C++ software development experience
  • Experience building high-performance and resilient systems
  • Ability to navigate and contribute to large, complex codebases
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, version control at scale, and rigorous release cycles
  • Experience delivering software in a production environment
  • Passion for autonomous vehicles and understanding of software interacting with the physical world
  • E-Verify employment eligibility verification for newly hired employees
  • Experience in Jira, Confluence, and GitLab is a bonus, not required
  • Background in robotics middleware (ROS, DDS) or autonomous systems is a bonus, not required
