About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, identify, recruit, and onboard high-value resellers, distributors, systems integrators, and telematics service providers throughout Mexico
- Manage partner relationships to drive pipeline generation and ensure partners are trained, motivated, and selling effectively
- Analyze the local competitive landscape and identify high-need verticals and regions for fleet safety and management solutions
- Lead the strategy and execution for acquiring and maintaining critical regional partnerships
- Drive joint business planning and strategic co-selling with top-tier partners
- Act as the internal voice of the partner, guiding Product and Marketing on positioning, pricing, and value proposition
- Maintain compliance with local regulations and business standards; keep price lists, product catalogs, and partner agreements localized and current
- Serve as subject matter expert for the Mexico Direct Sales team and enable them to use partners to close deals
- Collaborate with Legal, Marketing, Product, and Finance
- Monitor partner performance and contract utilization; report KPIs and ROI to the Director of GTM Partnerships
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Channel Sales, with a specific focus on the Mexico region and market
- Must be based in Mexico City
- Ability to work a hybrid in-office schedule
- Fluent in Spanish
- Capable of conducting business negotiations seamlessly in both Spanish and English
- Deep understanding of the Mexican channel landscape, distribution models, and the role of resellers/integrators in B2B sales
- Experience in SaaS, IoT, Hardware, or the Mobility/Transportation industry is highly preferred
- Understanding how to sell physical and digital solutions to commercial fleets is a major differentiator
- Ability to distill complex product and program language into simple, actionable advice
- Proficiency using CRM tools, specifically Salesforce, to track partner leads, deal registration, and revenue attribution
- Must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations
