About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and design various industrial structures, preferably for water and wastewater treatment projects
- Analyze and design liquid retaining structures using STAAD or Robot
- Prepare designs and drawings for WTP/ETP buildings with pile foundations
- Perform static and dynamic analysis of machine foundations and structures
- Check reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedules, and MTO drawings
- Coordinate with piping and mechanical disciplines and design pipe racks and structures
- Design and detail RCC and steel industrial structures
- Perform finite element analysis of foundations using STAADPRO or Robot
- Develop civil-architectural design bases, scope matrices, job specifications, and deliverable lists
- Participate in preparing tender documents and BOQs for various packages
- Collaborate within Mott MacDonald's Global Delivery Services Centre on international infrastructure and development projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- BE in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3+ years of design experience in Water/waste water projects
- Experience analyzing and designing industrial structures, preferably water and wastewater treatment structures
- Experience with liquid retaining structures using STAAD or Robot
- Experience preparing designs and drawings for WTP/ETP buildings with pile foundations
- Experience with static and dynamic analysis of machine foundations and structures
- Experience checking reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedules, and MTO
- Experience coordinating with piping/mechanical disciplines and designing pipe racks
- Experience designing and detailing RCC/steel industrial structures
- Experience with finite element analysis of foundations
- Proficiency with STAADPRO or Robot software
