About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities related to the design, development, and implementation of Internet Business Applications
Maintain, support, and upgrade existing application systems and software in collaboration with the Architecture team
Manage development and deployment of new and existing applications for Mouser.com
Develop, lead, and motivate work teams by hiring, training, and managing the software development team
Provide technical leadership and support to the wider Internet Business team
Ensure development projects meet business goals and resolve systems issues
Evaluate projects, recommend solutions, and improve existing applications
Research and recommend software products and services
Develop and implement team policies and procedures
Communicate progress and status to senior management
Represent the company professionally and maintain confidentiality
Stay current with industry trends and techniques
Work with minimum supervision and make independent judgments
Adapt to changing business needs and take on new responsibilities and assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in IT or a similar field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology
Proven people management and leadership abilities
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with modern technologies, including React
Background in API-first or microservice-based environments
Knowledge of current information systems industry trends and technologies
Experience in Ecommerce would be a plus
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
Ability to establish, track, and achieve team goals
Experience hiring, training, and coaching personnel
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with effective multi-tasking skills
Profound language skills in English and local language and excellent communication skills across all levels
Professional demeanor and strong ethical standards
Maintains confidentiality and trustworthy relationships
