Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis cycle by preparing analyses, identifying key drivers, and ensuring data accuracy
  • Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and analyses to improve visibility into business performance
  • Work with ERP, planning, and other business data sources to support reporting and decision-making
  • Validate and reconcile data across financial reports and analyses
  • Assist with new planning, reporting, and analytical capabilities
  • Support process improvement through automation, standardization, and improved technology use
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools and automation technologies to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance decision support
  • Assist in developing data models, analytical tools, and reporting solutions
  • Prepare materials and analysis for leadership reviews
  • Document assumptions, methodologies, and business logic used in reporting and analysis
  • Respond to ad hoc requests by gathering data, structuring analyses, and delivering timely insights
  • Develop understanding of business operations and how operational drivers influence financial performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting
  • Foundation in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze data efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, validation, and auditability
  • Ability to learn new systems, technologies, and business processes quickly
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into business insights
  • Demonstrated curiosity and interest in leveraging technology to improve business processes
  • Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, automation tools, or AI-enabled technologies preferred
  • Finance certifications or progress toward them a plus (e.g., CPA, CFA)
  • Internship or project experience involving financial analysis, data analytics, reporting, automation, or AI tools is a plus
  • Exposure to forecasting, budgeting, or variance analysis in an internship or prior role preferred
