Key responsibilities & impact

  • Inspire and steward leadership donors through personalized and meaningful engagement
  • Build and manage a portfolio of donors and prospects with the potential to make transformational gifts

  • Help shape a culture of philanthropy while contributing to ambitious fundraising goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as a major gift fundraiser with demonstrated success in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts in the five- and six-figure range
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to build genuine relationships with high-net-worth individuals
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities simultaneously
  • A collaborative mindset and experience working effectively with senior leaders, volunteers, and cross-functional teams
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong initiative, sound judgment, and attention to detail
  • Experience using CRM/database systems to manage relationships and fundraising activity
  • Willingness to travel within Canada and work occasional evenings or weekends for donor meetings and events
  • All positions at MS Canada will require a background check in compliance with the Screening Measures Policy
