About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Champion regional water initiatives from strategic planning through execution of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Coordinate project delivery across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction
Serve as the face of ms consultants for key clients, building lasting relationships and uncovering new opportunities
Lead development of winning proposals, compelling presentations, and competitive project budgets
Oversee projects involving water distribution and wastewater collection systems
Oversee treatment facilities for water and wastewater
Inspire teams to uphold high standards of quality, innovation, and client satisfaction
Drive growth and lead planning and design of high-impact infrastructure projects in Indiana
Work with senior leadership across the company and report directly to the Senior Vice President for the Water Business Unit
Lead project delivery, client engagement, and operational excellence, connecting project managers and client leads to successful projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Relevant years of experience in water, wastewater, and/or utilities
Years of proven leadership in project and people management
Deep understanding of public works, regulatory environments, and market dynamics
Expertise in coordinating project delivery, aligning people, project design processes, and priorities
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited university, or equivalent experience that proves readiness to lead
