About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc analysis and client reporting for institutional and/or wealth management clients
  • Perform detailed reviews of client deliverables
  • Design, prepare, and review custom institutional client reports using FactSet, Excel, and Word
  • Assist with designing tactical reporting solutions for new products
  • Manage timely and accurate delivery of all requests
  • Investigate portfolio-specific inquiries
  • Develop specialized knowledge of Parametric products and strategies
  • Uphold department reputation through professionalism, accuracy, responsiveness, and client service
  • Develop working knowledge of the firm's structure, key personnel, policies, procedures, and professional services environment
  • Collaborate with multiple departments and coordinate simultaneous projects and tasks
  • Assume other responsibilities as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree, preferably in a related discipline such as economics or finance
  • 2–4 years of industry experience
  • Strong math/quantitative skills and analytical writing ability
  • Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables
  • Ability to work independently and in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to maintain productivity and a strong work ethic under minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of statistics
  • Familiarity with principles of portfolio management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle a heavy, deadline-oriented workload
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple simultaneous projects and tasks with internal departments
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
  • High level of initiative
  • Familiarity with FactSet, Bloomberg, and other analysis tools is a plus
  • Proficiency in macro and code writing is a plus
  • Completion of Level I or higher of the CFA program is a plus
