About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and maintain the architecture, standards and design principles for the MS3 network
Own the network technology roadmap, including capacity planning, resilience improvements and technology evolution
Act as the technical authority for significant network initiatives, approving high-level and low-level designs
Provide governance and assurance to ensure network solutions are scalable, resilient, secure and operationally supportable
Drive improvements in network performance, availability and customer experience through continuous improvement and operational feedback
Lead technical input into major incidents, root cause analysis and corrective actions
Engage with vendors and technology partners to evaluate solutions, influence technology direction and support future investment decisions
Shape the future of MS3's IP and fibre network architecture and strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong background in large-scale service provider environments
Deep expertise in IP networking, MPLS, EVPN and Segment Routing
Experience producing and reviewing network designs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience supporting complex network operations and incident management
Knowledge of network automation and OSS/BSS integrations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Must already have the right to work in the UK
MS3 is unable to provide visa sponsorship
