About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and support administration related to White Fleet vehicle bookings in line with Road Transport Regulations
- Process Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience (RPLE) requests and support continual development of the process
- Process invoices and cover approval of volunteer expenses for Training Manager leave
- Carry out administrative duties, including updating “Westminster” records for cadet and volunteer qualifications and appointments
- Support the Programmes and Virtual Training Manager with coordination and delivery of approved training packages, including BTEC, Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards and CyberFirst
- Support the learning delivery team through development and administration of processes and policies
- Attend virtual and in-person meetings at MSSC and Sea Cadet Corps facilities, including the MSSC National Support Centre in London
- Work occasional evenings to support volunteers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in supporting a programme of training activity
- Experience following processes outlined in policies and operating standards
- Experience of working with volunteers to engage and influence
- Successful employment is subject to detailed pre-employment checks, including references and criminal disclosure checks and completion of a disclosure questionnaire
- Required to attend safeguarding training
- Required to undergo a criminal record check
