About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute and review month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities in accordance with corporate accounting policies and local statutory requirements
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of general ledger balances and financial reporting
  • Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and other local reporting obligations
  • Coordinate audit requests and provide support during external and internal audits
  • Partner with Tax teams in the preparation and review of corporate income tax calculations and tax provisions
  • Monitor changes in accounting and tax regulations and assess potential impacts on financial reporting
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification, standardization and automation
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional and global projects impacting finance processes and reporting
  • Serve as a key liaison between Finance, Tax, Business Services and external stakeholders
  • Leverage data, automation and digital solutions to improve financial processes, strengthen controls and generate actionable insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting or Accounting-to-Reporting environments
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
  • Experience driving process improvement initiatives
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP environment
  • Experience with Corporate Income Tax and deferred tax accounting
  • Experience participating in finance transformation programs and system implementations
  • Project management experience in cross-functional environments
