About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead regional category management and sourcing for Global Media & Partnerships within Marketing Procurement
  • Collaborate with HH business partners and regional/local sourcing professionals in a matrix organization
  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies using the Supply Strategy Council framework
  • Lead cross-functional teams through sourcing processes and provide oversight for regional/local category components
  • Drive value creation, service delivery, innovation, digitalization, and corporate social/environmental responsibility
  • Develop and implement strategic source plans with global, regional, and local procurement representatives
  • Engage business stakeholders to define requirements, manage profit-plan savings targets, and provide strategic advice
  • Build relationships with global, international, and enterprise suppliers and manage supplier performance
  • Develop and execute RFIs/RFPs and supplier selection processes
  • Re-engineer procurement processes and execute strategic initiatives
  • Review and negotiate contracts, resolve purchase-order and supplier issues, and create new vendors
  • Manage supplier relationship activities, forums, contracts, and performance insights
  • Report to the Director of Global Media & Partnerships Procurement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain and/or business-related field
  • Minimum of 7 years in strategic procurement, media procurement, marketing or related role
  • Strong analytical skills
  • In-depth subject matter expertise in the media field and current industry trends and best practices
  • Proven success in developing and executing global or regional media sourcing strategies
  • Strong communications and influencing skills at senior levels
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior management, stakeholders, team members, other departments and suppliers
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Experience negotiating with media/marketing agencies of record preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
  • Must be a US or Puerto Rico resident
  • No visa sponsorship available
  • 25% travel required
