About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as key point of contact and strategic thought-partner for Global Asset Marketing teams
  • Translate business needs into structured analytical plans and hypotheses
  • Communicate advanced analytics to stakeholders for business decision-making
  • Develop and own the commercial insight generation strategy and roadmap
  • Analyze epidemiology, claims/EMR, and other disparate data sources across US and ex-US markets
  • Develop insights on patient journeys, referral patterns, patient/HCP segmentation, and market sizing
  • Ensure analytical rigor, consistency, and transparency of assumptions and methodologies
  • Integrate primary market research and secondary data sources
  • Create compelling data stories and business recommendations
  • Quarterback end-to-end delivery across human health division and IT capabilities
  • Coordinate insights, analytics, digital products, and technology functions
  • Collaborate with market research, forecasting, data science, data strategy, competitive insights, marketing operations, medical, and clinical teams
  • Align cross-functional teams on scope, methodology, timelines, and outputs
  • Apply emerging analytical methodologies and AI to enhance organizational capabilities
  • Contribute to ideation, incubation, experimentation, and measurable business improvements
  • Identify opportunities to embed next-generation analytics and digital capabilities into pipeline and launch strategies
  • Lead and mentor Specialists and Senior Specialists across on-shore and off-shore teams
  • Foster continuous learning, innovation, urgency, and feedback
  • Lead cross-functional insights teams across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Decision Science, Marketing, Engineering, Public Health, or equivalent scientific/commercial discipline
  • Five or more (5+) years of experience in marketing, data insights and analytics, strategic planning, or related roles within pharmaceutical, biotech, consulting, or healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of mining patient medical claims/EMR data and producing actionable business insights
  • Strategic thinking skills and ability to consolidate and synthesize primary/secondary data insights
  • Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
  • Story-telling and executive presence with senior leaders
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience collaborating in a matrixed organization
  • Strong business acumen and consultative skills
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Experience managing business analysts and data scientists
  • Innovative thinking and curiosity about agentic AI and automation
  • Awareness of AI opportunities, limitations, and responsible use in a regulated environment
  • Prior hands-on experience with healthcare data, especially EMR/EHR and claims data such as IQVIA APLD
  • Experience in Life Science or consulting industry preferred
  • Prior experience in Oncology/Hematology preferred
  • Global experience in data and analytics preferred
  • Advanced degree preferred but not required
