About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the Value and Implementation process, including projects of significant complexity
  • Drive cross-functional teams and lead by influence to develop comprehensive strategies and ensure successful execution
  • Guide teams through creation, approval, and execution of integrated project plans
  • Integrate strategic and tactical input from Medical Affairs, Outcomes Research, Market Access, Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences, Commercial, and other disciplines
  • Build and maintain project plans and critical project information in enterprise project management systems and databases
  • Integrate activities across key team members, proactively identify risks, and ensure effective stakeholder communication
  • Leverage relationships and networks to improve team dynamics and remove obstacles
  • Navigate company processes and organizational norms to enable decision-making
  • Lead key team meetings, create agendas, ensure participation, provide project management insights, and follow up on progress
  • Participate in GPAM departmental initiatives and workstreams to improve processes and collaboration
  • Improve business processes to find efficiencies and connect people with needed information
  • Mentor, coach, and provide oversight to Specialist and Senior Specialist project managers
  • Share lessons learned and best practices across the GPAM community

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in a scientific or applied discipline preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management or a related role required
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of different components of value and implementation strongly preferred
  • Project management certification (PMP) and/or formal coursework/training in project management strongly preferred
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MPH, MS, MBA, Ph.D., PharmD) preferred
