About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define, document, and drive the overarching testing roadmap and QA standards across ServiceNow modules
  • Create detailed test plans and coordinate unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing
  • Validate application functionality, configurations, customizations, and integrations before production releases, upgrades, and patch cycles
  • Develop and execute a maturity roadmap to transform testing into Quality Engineering excellence through AI-driven capabilities
  • Lead defect triage meetings, analyze root causes, and collaborate with Developers and Product Owners on issue resolution
  • Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites using AutomatePro AutoTesting and ServiceNow Automated Test Framework
  • Perform data validation for CMDB directories and data transformations during large data migrations
  • Establish and track quality KPIs such as test coverage and defect leakage rates
  • Support testers in executing test scripts
  • Lead, guide, and mentor junior testing engineers and distribute testing workloads across agile squads

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream
  • 12+ years of working experience creating, executing, and managing testing efforts
  • Automated Test Framework experience required
  • AutomatePro working knowledge highly desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices for IT Service Management highly desirable
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform and testing strategies
  • Experience with AutomatePro AutoTesting and/or ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology, Agile project management, Agile Scrum development, Agile tools, application integrations, data engineering, data visualization, information technology, iterative development, maturity models, platform design/development/management, process maturity, software configurations, software development, SDLC, solution architecture, system designs, and system integration
