About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and manage real-world and economic evidence activities for in-line and pipeline products
  • Characterize disease burden, epidemiology, treatment patterns, health-care resource utilization and costs, physician and patient satisfaction, clinical and patient-reported outcomes, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and economic modelling
  • Develop American Managed Care Pharmacy dossiers for U.S. payers and Global Value Dossiers
  • Critically assess drivers and barriers to reimbursement and market access
  • Provide input into clinical, regulatory, payer/access, marketing, and evidence-generation strategies and programs
  • Design studies and author study protocols
  • Develop measurement questionnaires, case report forms, data analysis plans, final study reports, scientific presentations, and publications
  • Manage study-related contracting, budgets, and vendors/partners
  • Ensure study conduct aligns with company policies, SOPs, worldwide regulations and standards, including Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practice
  • Develop supplementary clinical data packages for HTA agency submissions
  • Support country affiliates with local evidence-generation needs and adapt health-economic evaluations and outcomes research documents
  • Communicate outcomes research and health economic modelling data to internal teams and external customers
  • Maintain awareness of scientific and methodological developments
  • Build relationships with scientific experts worldwide
  • Present outcomes research data at national and international congresses and publish scientific journal articles
  • Work cross-functionally with clinical development, medical affairs, biostatistics, market access, commercial, and country affiliates
  • Supervise external vendors or partners as needed
  • Interact with HTA agencies, reimbursement decision makers, and national immunization technical advisory groups as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline: health services research, outcomes research, epidemiology, public health, health economics, pharmacoeconomics, or pharmacy administration
  • One to three years of experience post master’s degree, or one or more years of experience post doctoral degree
  • Preferred doctoral degree: PhD, MD, DrPH, ScD, or PharmD in a relevant discipline
