About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive meaningful patient impact by leveraging scientific expertise and serving as the primary contact for customers in the assigned territory
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Integrated Delivery Systems leaders, and field colleagues as part of the local Customer Team
  • Develop and manage relationships with cardiologists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Engage with physicians’ offices, integrated delivery systems, pharmacies, and hospital clinics
  • Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with company policies, standards, and ethics
  • Maintain current product knowledge and certifications for the company’s portfolio
  • Conduct balanced and compliant product sales discussions with healthcare providers and business professionals
  • Provide management with updates on customer needs, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals
  • Stay knowledgeable about headquarters-approved information on company products, disease, and marketplace
  • Monitor business performance against objectives using company tools
  • Support the Cape Girardeau, MO territory covering Cape Girardeau, Farmington, Sikeston, Poplar Bluff, Jackson, and Festus
  • Travel as needed, including approximately 25% overnight travel for client meetings and territory coverage

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • S1: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), or high school diploma or equivalent with 0–3 years of relevant work experience
  • S2: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), or high school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of sales experience, or high school diploma with at least 6 years of relevant work experience
  • Relevant experience may include professional sales, marketing, military service, or healthcare/scientific roles such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices
  • Able to analyze complex data and develop strategic sales plans
  • Comfortable using digital tools and platforms to engage with healthcare professionals
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing market conditions and customer expectations
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Reside in the territory or within 25 miles of the workload center for designated metro territories, or within 75 miles for non-metro territories; otherwise willing to relocate at own expense
  • Preferred background in sales, account management, consultative roles, or customer service
  • Preferred experience analyzing metrics to evaluate progress toward goals
  • Preferred minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience
  • Preferred cardiovascular sales experience with established relationships with cardiologists and endocrinologists
  • Preferred experience launching products and succeeding in competitive markets
  • Ability to simplify complex information and clearly convey technical details
  • Proficient in advanced analytics to generate customer insights and drive sales
  • Comfortable leveraging multi-channel tools and technology to expand sales reach and impact
