About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support customers with clinical product information, educational information, clinical training programs, and resources
- Engage pharmacies, medical groups, and physician offices to support population health and high-potential business opportunities
- Identify customer needs, align products and services, support pull-through activities, and demonstrate value and improved health outcomes
- Ensure activities comply with Company policies and US laws and regulations
- Report to the Customer Team Leader and collaborate with Vaccine Field Sales and Vaccines Pharmacy Account Executive teams
- Conduct 60% of HCP engagements remotely and travel for 40% of engagements and quarterly company meetings
- Manage accounts and contracts through collaborative business planning and customer business reviews
- Optimize vaccine purchases and inventory using contract terms and historical ordering patterns
- Establish and track account performance metrics and adjust plans as needed
- Apply vaccine portfolio, competitive brand, immunization recommendation, and protocol knowledge
- Manage customer supply, product transition, and back-order challenges
- Build customer trust and deliver value through high-quality sales engagements
- Collaborate with customers and Field Sales counterparts to provide information and solutions
- Develop value rationales for Company Vaccines and commercial offers
- Ask strategic questions to understand healthcare needs and position vaccines and offers
- Segment and prioritize assigned customers based on characteristics and buying behaviors
- Allocate marketing and field resources to execute sales and marketing plans
- Communicate clinical information and commercial offers in a customized, customer-relevant way
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidate must live in the New York City Metropolitan Area, including NYC, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, Southern Connecticut, and West Chester County
- S1: Bachelor’s degree with 0–3 years Sales experience OR high school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience
- S2: Bachelor’s degree with 3 or more years (36+ months) Sales experience OR high school diploma with at least 6 years of equivalent experience
- Relevant experience may include professional sales, marketing, military, or pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, healthcare, or scientific fields
- Valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated aptitude to excel in educational or professional roles
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to convey technical concepts accurately and clearly
- Prior technical/scientific or healthcare environment experience preferred
- Previous sales, account management, consultative, or customer service experience preferred
- Experience developing and executing customer engagement plans preferred
- Understanding of marketing/sales or marketing/sales support functions/operations preferred
- Ability to analyze metrics against objectives preferred
