About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of 2 Associate Directors providing compliance support to the US Market Finance team
- Ensure all aspects of the US Market Finance Compliance Plan are met
- Facilitate the annual SOX audit with internal and external auditors
- Coordinate annual reviews and training on internal controls, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and government pricing policies
- Prepare quarterly State of Compliance reports and conduct compliance reviews with US Market Finance and Compliance senior leaders
- Manage the quarterly control process and ensure significant matters are identified and evaluated promptly
- Provide compliance subject matter expertise on commercial initiatives through cross-functional team participation
- Advise on implementation of new projects, systems, and processes to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with SOX and other financial requirements
- Identify, investigate, and implement preventative actions for remediation items
- Communicate the importance of compliance throughout the organization
- Report directly to the US Finance Lead and via dotted line to the Human Health US Compliance Lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- 10 years of business experience, preferably pharmaceutical/healthcare-related
- Excellent project management, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and lead across functions
- Prior management/team leadership experience with proven results
