About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a key analytics partner to US vaccines marketing, aligning analyses and insights to brand and portfolio priorities
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand key questions, clarify objectives, and translate them into analytical use cases
  • Enable prioritization and scoping conversations by assessing business demand, requests, and potential use cases
  • Analyze claims, EMR/EHR, CDC, IQVIA, digital, and CRM data to generate actionable commercial insights
  • Propose analytical approaches and AI/ML/NLP/modeling techniques, including methods and trade-offs
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and onshore and offshore DHH teams
  • Support the design, development, and refinement of AI/ML and NLP solutions, including Agentic AI
  • Ensure analyses are delivered with high quality, timeliness, compliance, and an excellent user experience
  • Keep clients updated on progress
  • Synthesize findings into concise stories and visualizations
  • Present insights to support data-driven decisions
  • Stay current on vaccine market dynamics and advances in analytics, AI, and machine learning
  • Lead a team of data scientists and analytics professionals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS (or equivalent) in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Decision Science, Marketing, Engineering, or Public Health is required
  • 8+ years of analytics or data science experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare
  • Proven track record applying advanced statistics, AI, machine learning, NLP, and Agentic AI to commercial business problems
  • Proficiency in Python, R Studio, SAS, SQL, or similar tools
  • Strong experience with patient-level and healthcare data, including claims, EMR/EHR, registry, CDC, IQVIA, and other secondary sources
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured analytical questions and data-driven recommendations
  • Experience supporting products across development, launch, growth, maturity, and end-of-life stages
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills
  • Experience presenting complex findings to senior and non-technical audiences
  • Stakeholder management and influence skills in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
  • Project and time management capabilities
  • Experience leading multiple concurrent analytics initiatives and teams
  • Self-directed, adaptable, curious, and committed to learning in AI/ML, advanced analytics, and evolving healthcare data
  • Prior hands-on healthcare data experience, especially EMR/EHR, claims data, and IQVIA data offerings preferred
  • Vaccines business knowledge preferred
  • Candidate must reside in the United States or Puerto Rico
