About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop a team of 4 engineers on the MuleSoft platform
Mentor developers, support their growth, and act as a technical role model
Shape the roadmap for integration services
Design robust solutions connecting cloud platforms, SaaS applications, e-commerce solutions, ERP, laboratory systems, and microservices architectures
Evaluate new integration demands and determine appropriate solution approaches
Promote reusable, scalable, and enterprise-standard integration patterns
Drive API-led connectivity, event-driven architecture, and publish-subscribe mechanisms
Ensure integration platforms operate reliably
Partner with business and product teams on backlog planning
Advise on technical debt and innovation
Collaborate with technology partners and vendors on platform development
Connect technical communities across Prague, the US, and India
Collaborate with international teams and travel to overseas offices about once a year

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of experience in development, implementation, integration, and microservices (iPaaS, API Management, SOA, Enterprise Application Integration)
Good experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Broad understanding of enterprise integration technologies
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), APIs, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Event Grid)
Understanding of the modern software development lifecycle
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of containerization (Kubernetes)
Understanding of DevSecOps practices within a regulated enterprise environment
Ability to clearly present technical concepts to business and leadership
Ability to collaborate in an international environment
English communication ability
